Kasteelpoort (4-5 hours) – Most Recommended: This hike starts on the Camps Bay side of the mountain and offers shelter from the morning sun with stunning views. You’ll experience breathtaking landscapes, from fynbos-filled ravines to majestic cliffs set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. This is a moderate hike perfect for those seeking a well-rounded and beautiful experience.

Skeleton Gorge (5-6 hours): A favorite among locals and tourists alike, this route starts at the iconic Kirstenbosch Gardens. It offers a rich diversity of flora and fauna, making it an immersive journey through the mountain’s natural beauty. This hike is considered moderate to challenging.

India Venster (4-5 hours): For those seeking an extra thrill, the India Venster route is the most adventurous option. It includes a few chains and scrambles on the way up, but no prior mountain experience is required. This route offers an element of excitement and is rated as moderate to challenging.

Platteklip Gorge (2.5-3 hours): Known as the most direct and popular route, Platteklip Gorge is a steep, staircase-like hike. It is a non-technical option, making it suitable for those who may have concerns about heights or being close to edges. This is a moderate (half-day) hike.
Each journey concludes with a leisurely stroll to the Upper Cable Car station, where an unforgettable descent awaits. You’ll marvel at the 360-degree views as the cable car gracefully rotates, providing a truly immersive experience before we transfer you back to your hotel.
