1.2 The Source of the Rhine

Nearby the Alps the Vorderrhein originates in the small lake known as Toma. After making its way through the region of Survela and the wildly romantic Rhine Gorge it unites in the area of Reichenau and Bonaduz with the Hinterrhein, which originates in the famous Via Mala Valley. This is where the two rivers meet to form the Rhine and then continues its flow towards Lake Constance, passing Austria and Liechtenstein. This tour is the secret favourite of our regular customers.
